Ms. Petrova is one of my favorite authors, not because she writes deep meaningful works that inspire me to live a better life, but because her stories are full of imagery that make my pulse race. She writes implausible stories with believable motivations. Where else can you find a dude ranch for women with sexual disfunctions? And believe it's a real place? Okay, I'm wishing here, but in my addled brain, believing and wishing is the same.This is a hot m/m/f menage story featuring a virgin woman who ends up with both men, and Ms. Petrova makes it all seem so attainable. I think that's what I like the most about this story--I can see this happening in real life (back to my own addled brain).
There were a few things I didn't like about this story, but they're personal issues. I thought there was too much of the day-to-day dealings with farm chores that messed with the pacing in some places. This is probably because I used to live on a farm, and these chores, in my mind, are not sexy. I also had a hard time with the positioning in one of the sex scenes. I know this seems nit-picky, but it took me out of the story a little too much to try and think of the possibilities of the particular positions the characters were in and how they got there so easily.
All in all, though, this was a great read. I don't think it's one of Em's best, as I missed some of the sparkling imagery she puts in some of her other books, but I still loved it, and would recommend it to others who enjoy a hot m/m/f menage/love story.

I am never disappointed with Em Petrova's books. Love this book and can't wait for her next one. The story was hot as were the men.
Em writes a hot love story. The hot sex comes as a bonus. The cowboys at the Boot Knockers Ranch are sexy, loving and falling like flys in lust and love. A great love story and hot sexy cowboys. And some m/m/f.
This is a great series. Three books in and I can't wait to read the rest.

This is the third Boot Knockers book I've read and I still want more. Sexy, sensual and stimulating stories of larger-than-life cowboys and the brave women who take then on. If you like MMF (or M-F) stories, I can definitely recommend Em Petrova's Boot Knocker's series. Enjoy!
I've been waiting for this 3rd book in this very yummy series and Ms. Petrova delivered again. Wow what a read! I am glad Paul finally gave in to Jack's advances brought together by Lissy's request. Loved their chemistry and passion for each other and finally getting their HEA enhanced by the woman they both fell in love with. Love this series and can't wait for the next one.
Reining Men was the first story I've read in the BOOT KNOCKERS RANCH series. I definitely will be going back to read the first 2. This story is SMOKIN'. MF/MMF/MFM. I love menage series especially when one man fights the attraction and needs the woman's help to get him to admit his feelings. Jack and Lissy started off as a twosome but she was also attracted to Paul, as was Jack. Paul wants Lissy bad! Lissy notices Jack's attraction to Paul and suggests a threesome. Jack is more than happy to set things up. I usually don't do spoilers in my reviews but I needed to clarify my statement of the woman helping bring them together. I loved this book. Great job Em!!
I have read this series for the 4th time now and this one is my absolute favorite.
Jack has been trying to get Paul for a long time!!! Paul has resisted him the whole time.
